The object of Roulette is to bet on whether the ball will land on a specific number or color or within a particular set of numbers on the Roulette wheel. Bets are placed at the beginning of the round before the dealer drops the ball onto the wheel to determine what number it will land on.

Roulette wheels come in two common types: the European style, which consists of 37 spaces with a zero and numbers from one to 36, and the American style, which consists of 38 spaces with a zero, a double zero, and numbers. From one to 36.

A Roulette round allows players to place various bets with varying payouts and wager more than once in a single round.

Below, we show the official designs of the Roulette and the European and American style table that players use to place their bets:

Roulette Betting

The bets that can be placed in a round of Roulette consist of two types: inside bets, which are bets placed by placing chips on the 37 or 38 numbers listed on the Roulette table, and outside bets, which are bets placed by placing chips on any part of the table outside this area.

Inside bets that can be placed on Roulette include:

Full / Simple

This is a bet that the ball will land on a specific number. This wager, which has a typical 35:1 payout, is represented by placing chips inside the designated number on the roulette table.
